Jennifer Maxwell
Jennifer Maxwell is a life-long resident of Crown Point. She is a 2006 graduate of Crown Point High School, where she played varsity softball and was a member of the student choir and the thespian club. Growing up, Jen traveled locally with her family following her dad and grandfather (Joe and Bill Adank) to antique tractor shows as charter members of the South Lake County Agricultural Society. Her family then transitioned their travel to follow her as she played competitive softball through her youth. She carried her love for softball beyond high school, playing recreationally through college as well as coaching for Schererville Girls Softball.
Jen graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant class with an Associates in Applied Science from Ivy Tech Community College in 2010. She was hired by Nick shortly after graduation as a PTA for Great Lakes Orthopedics. Jen has enjoyed working with Nick and Eileen for the duration of her career, and appreciates the work-family balance that the team at Alpha provides. She truly enjoys working with athletic and orthopedic injuries and is always seeking opportunities to grow as a clinician.
Jen and her husband Alex were married in 2011 and have two children, Julia and Bo. Jen’s family is very active with outdoor activities that include camping, hiking, fishing, hunting, canoeing and dog walks. They also enjoy spending time with friends and family for monthly game nights. Jen is a beekeeper which is a hobby she is always learning about, but willing to discuss!
